Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Officially Launched with Metal Body and Fingerprint Scanner

On Tuesday Xiaomi officially launched the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 at their Grand Finale event in Beijing.

The Redmi Note 3 is the third generation of the Redmi Note series and shares a lot of similarities as the other generations.

The handset is the first Mi phone to feature a full metal body and fingerprint sensor. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is only 8.65mm at it’s thickest and weighs 184 grams that makes it only 4 grams heavier than the Redmi Note 2. The body of the phone features curved edges to provide a better grip.

Another notable feature is the 4000mAh battery with fast charging support that can charge the battery up to 50% in 1 hour. This is a tremendous achievement by Xiaomi to fit a large capacity battery in a very thin phone.
